About Skills Training
We at 90 Feet focus on the skills and vocational training of the Craftsmen so that goods of export quality with internationally certified leather and raw materials can be made. We tied up with the Leather Skill Sector Council of India and conducted a rigorous 25 day training program for our craftsmen. They worked with international quality leather, threads, needles, adhesives, edge paints and made the 1st batch of 90 Feet Bags. Post training and examination, Indian Government’s ‘Skill India’ certificate was awarded to them giving them an identity of expert leather artisans.
Humanitarian Work
During Covid lockdowns 1 lakh meals were served to Dharavi craftsmen and the locals which was funded by a crowdfunding campaign and executed by the team at Dharavi Market along with several of our craftsmen.
